Stephen A. Crystal

Stephen Crystal, a Co-Founder, Vice-Chairman and President of Barrick Gaming Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Barrick Corporation, has been involved in gaming development and operations in numerous gaming jurisdictions as General Counsel to the Barrick family of businesses since 1993. Barrick Gaming Corporation owns and operates six hotel casinos in downtown Las Vegas , Nevada a portfolio consisting of 2000 hotel rooms, over 150,000 square feet of gaming and employing over 2000 team members. Barrick Gaming also has gaming projects in Hinton , OK , Wendover , NV and Elko , NV . Previously, Mr. Crystal assisted Barrick in the negotiation and management of its joint venture relationship with Station Casino in its $450 million riverboat/hotel/entertainment complex in Kansas City , Missouri . In addition to Barrick, Mr. Crystal has represented numerous other private and public gaming companies and host jurisdictions in gaming projects and transactions throughout the country, including the City of Riverside, Missouri, host to the Argosy riverboat casino.

In addition to gaming development and operations, Mr. Crystal, through his involvement in Barrick Corporation, has been involved in the ownership and operation of private companies including a leading provider of extended warranties/service contracts in the wastewater and water treatment industry nationally and internationally; a distributor of water and wastewater equipment globally; and a manufacturer and distributor for pet products and vitamin supplements in retail outlets globally.

A former New Hampshire legislator, elected at the age of 20 while still attending Dartmouth College , Crystal has been an active participant in the national political scene having managed congressional and presidential campaigns, including participation in national conventions. Crystal has been a partner in one of the mid-west's oldest and most prestigious law firms, Armstrong Teasdale, LLP, and he has managed the firm's public law and gaming practices in addition to its offices in the nation's capital. Crystal has developed a national reputation in spearheading some of the most innovative large-scale public-private redevelopment efforts in the country, with a focus on representing municipalities and private developers in the mid-west and the Washington, DC area and nationally.

Mr. Crystal is a member in good standing of the Bars in the states of Missouri , Kansas , and the District of Columbia . He received his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College and his law degree from American University , Washington College of Law.

Marius Swart has been creating and delivering information systems and technology solutions for corporations across the world for almost two decades. Born in South Africa , Mr. Swart began his career in technology by developing software applications in the mining industry for some of the largest, most complex and wealthiest companies world-wide.

Mr. Swart relocated to North America 11 years ago and his entrepreneurial spirit led him to become a successful software entrepreneur and businessman.

Most recently, Mr. Swart was CEO/President of an on-demand learning company based in Maryland that provided solutions used by companies such as Cisco Systems and Microsoft Corporation. One of the solutions designed and developed by Mr. Swart was recognized as a top product of the year for 2004 in its market segment.

Mr. Swart was also the founder and CEO of a workforce management company based in New Jersey that was awarded the IT/Software Company of the Year by the New Jersey Technology Council in 2001.

Mr. Swart has provided technology solutions to hundreds of U.S.-based Fortune 500 companies, and has provided solutions to companies across the globe, including Canada , Europe and Japan . Mr. Swart has invented several business process patents and influenced many products used every day throughout the world.

Mr. Swart is a regular speaker on the technology circuit and a guest lecturer at several educational institutions.
